So according to my calendar, we’ve been playing tunes on our streaming radio for a little over a month now. So far, Boston Progress Radio has been doing well; we’ve been getting music from artists all over the United States. Without their help, BPR would be non-existent. So thank you. I always feel extraordinarily grateful when artists give us music to play. The funny thing is, the artists I’ve spoken to invariably thank us for their support. I suppose we have a mutually beneficial symbiosis. Kind of like the clownfish and the sea anemones?

Speaking of artists, we have new music from three artists today. We’re playing some music off Kite Operations‘ new release Heart Attacks: Back to Back. We’ve mentioned this album before, but we’ve only just got their music now. Read more

Forget the Girl is playing at the Bulfinch Yacht Club (234 Friend Street, Boston, MA). They’ll be hitting the stage with Project 1.9, Mike Verge, and Ready In 10. Show is 21+ with 7:30 doors. Cost: $8.

Forget the Girl could probably be characterized as an alternative Asian American rock band. I haven’t listened to their lyrics that carefully. But they are playing at Skybar at 518 Somerville Avenue, Somerville, MA. Check them out if you have time.
