An Ill and Creative PSA for Project Khanh and Cancer Awareness
Khanh Vo was a young man from San Jose, CA who inspired many people as he fought lympho-proliferative disorder (LPD), a rare form of lymphoma. His struggle caught national attention and contributed to the advocacy for bone marrow donations in communities of color. Khanh passed away on September 22nd, 2008.
Months have passed since but his legacy continues. Recently, his family and friends created a beautiful music video called “March On” which can be viewed on the bottom of this post.
For more information on the need for bone marrow donations within the Asian American community, please visit the Asian American Donor Program at http://www.aadp.org. To learn more about Project Khanh, a blog that was maintained by Khanh and his friends, please visit http://khanhvo85.blogspot.com/.
