Rachel Getting Sia’ed
Sorry dear readers. We here at BPRLive have not been good about updating this space. What with all the real world stuff going on right now, and with this Mercury in retrograde nonsense, it’s been hard to get anything done at work, at home, or online.
But if you get a chance this weekend, take a break from anxiously rubbing your hands together and go check out our old friend Beau Sia in the new Jonathan Demme film “Rachel Getting Married,” starring Anne Hathaway and some other people. You can see him on the left in this movie still. Trust me, that is him. I know the back of his head like…I guess as well as you can know the back of someone’s head, which truthfully isn’t all that well actually.
But he’s even in the trailer, which you can find here. (Fast forward to 00:21 to see Beau Sizzle in all his bald-headed glory.)
When I first heard that Beau was in a movie that takes place at a wedding with Anne Hathaway, somehow I expected it to be like a wacky screwball comedy. I didn’t realize it was gonna be considered an early favorite for the Oscars!

What a fine picture of the back his head!? And I don’t know about you, but that 5 ms shot of him in the trailer was totally awesome.
