Come join us for another exciting East Meets Words Open Mic event this Friday, June 13th. [cue spooky music]. This month’s feature is from one of Boston’s local colleges: Carlos Williams.
Carlos Williams was a part of Emerson College’s inaugural poetry slam team in 2008. He was nominated for best male performer and best poem. A student of the written word, Carlos didn’t so much start doing spoken word as much as he dived head-first into it as if it were the first breath of fresh air he had ever encountered. Aside from that he grew up all over the globe and spends his time walking from end-to-end in Boston. He has so much to learn.
East Meets Words Open Mic takes place at East Meets West Bookstore at 934 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA. Bring $3. All ages are welcome.
