ImaginAsian Radio
I love the Internet. While browsing for potential music to play on BPR, I came across ImaginAsian Radio. According to the their website,
ImaginAsian Radio, the sound of Asian America, is a pan-Asian radio presence featuring Asian American music, entertainment news, live performances, talk and interviews. It provides a compelling online music experience with a 24/7 Internet radio stream giving Asian and Asian American music artists access to a global audience.
I like their basic premise. Maybe I’ll be able to listen to Asian American music. Now, do I think of them as competition? Not at all. First, I think the more stations of this kind out there, the better. Second, I think that our focus at BPR is more grassroots-based and community-oriented. We want to establish relationships with artists. We encourage both listeners and artists to participate in our community.
Of course, that’s not to say that they don’t have good stuff. They do. Just not as cool as us. listen to their radio station.
